Exhibition Stands Designed for The Birmingham NEC
The National Exhibition Centre, or NEC, is more than just the largest exhibition venue in the UK. It is a bustling hub of activity, attracting millions of visitors and thousands of exhibitors every year. And our team at Creation Exhibitions is proud to be a part of it all.
As seasoned experts in the field of exhibition stand design and build, we’ve been working at the NEC since it was first established as the Birmingham International Arena. We know how to navigate its 20 interconnecting halls and 34 conference suites, all set in the vast grounds of 611 acres. Our build team has been there every step of the way, delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.
From intimate music performances to large-scale sporting events, the NEC has it all. And we’re there, building our modular and bespoke exhibition stands at most of them! As a testament to our commitment to quality, we’ve become a trusted partner of many well-known exhibitions and conferences of all sizes held at the venue.
Over the years, the NEC has undergone a series of transformations, with each one marking a new chapter in its history. In 1983, it was rebranded as the NEC Arena, which later became the LG Arena in 2008, after signing a lucrative naming-rights sponsorship deal with the global electronics company LG. This exciting development ushered in a new era for the arena, which has been a popular destination for live events since it first opened its doors in 1980.
The NEC has now become the UK’s number one exhibition venue. Every year, it welcomes around 2.4 million visitors and over 39,000 exhibiting companies to more than 125 exhibitions. The venue’s central location makes it the perfect choice for companies looking to showcase their products and services to a larger audience. It is easily accessible for our build crews, which ensure our price-point remains cost effective, meaning that your new exhibition stand design and build won’t cost the earth. (both to your pocket and the planet, The NEC sends zero waste to landfill!)
