Exhibition Stands Designed for Manchester Central
We have had the pleasure of designing and building exhibition stands at Manchester Central ever since it reopened 1986. Due to this our stand builders are extremely familiar with every nook and cranny of this prestigious venue, ensuring a seamless setup process.
Manchester Central, formerly known as the Manchester Central Convention Complex, is an award-winning event space located in the heart of Manchester, England. The venue boasts a rich history, having once been used as a railway station, and now serves as a hub for cultural, educational, and business events.
Manchester Central has a fascinating history, having been originally built as a railway station in 1880. At the time, it was the largest railway station in the world and was a hub for passenger and goods transportation. However, as the popularity of rail travel declined in the 20th century, Manchester Central became obsolete and was eventually closed in 1969.
Fortunately, in the early 1980s, a visionary redevelopment project was launched, transforming the abandoned station into the Manchester Central Convention Complex that we know today. The renovation project was completed in 1986, marking the birth of a new era for the iconic building.
Manchester Central is an ideal venue for large-scale conferences and trade shows. The venue has over 23,000 square meters of flexible event space, with a maximum capacity of 10,000 people. The space is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, free Wi-Fi, and on-site catering facilities.
